Bushnell Park North & Horace Bushnell Promenade

A stroll along Bushnell Park North on Horace Bushnell Promenade, a redesigned park-side street in Hartford, takes you along a new promenade starting at Union Station on the eastern part of downtown and culminating at Main Street at the heart of the city.  A complete street strategy including a road diet, green infrastructure at the northern edge of Bushnell Park, rerouting of heavy bus traffic for most of the segment, wider sidewalks, and proposed new infill will help restore the rich vibrant edge that once existed here.
