LA Blvd Talk Featured on KCRW
Doug Suisman’s lecture this Saturday at the Santa Monica Public Library was featured on KCRW’s Design and Architecture blog in their “5 Design Things To Do This Week!”
When Doug Suisman first published his “pamphlet” on eight Los Angeles thoroughfares his goal was to “celebrate the boulevards of Los Angeles as vital thoroughfares worthy of spatial, historical, and cultural analysis.” 25 years later the book has been republished (by ORO Editions), and this Saturday Doug will talk about his findings then and now at an event hosted by the Society of Architectural Historians at Santa Monica’s downtown central library.
