Bushnell Performing Arts Campus Master Plan

The iQuilt Plan is a culture based comprehensive plan for downtown Hartford, a vision started by the Bushnell in 2007. Two of its principal tenants are to enliven the downtown streetscape and to externalize cultural assets, both of which are embodied in the iNSIDE/OUT program implemented in the plan for the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts.  The plan proposes to extend the Bushnell’s presence outward through a number of projects like Hillyer Gate at Clinton Street, lighting the flytower, improving the streetscape between Connecticut Square and Bushnell Park, and bringing its existing cafe out to the street.
