Los Angeles First Street Master Plan

Instigated by Project Restore and the City of Los Angeles, the plan spans from Bunker Hill to Boyle Heights, connecting Mozart to Mariachi

Suisman Urban Design, in an alliance with Campbell & Campbell and Rios Clementi Hale Studios, developed a conceptual master plan for First Street in Los Angeles. The 2.4 mile corridor connects Disney Concert Hall atop Bunker Hill on the west to Mariachi Plaza on Boyle Heights to the east. The street passes by City Hall, through Little Tokyo, and the Arts District before crossing the Los Angeles River. The plan coordinates street operations, streetscapes and programming for the more than $2 billion of development then taking place along the street.
