Metro Rapid is a new bus rapid transit system for Los Angeles County. Suisman Urban Design was engaged by the MTA to develop the entire graphic and architectural identity for the system, including its logo, the buses, and the stations. The station stops, located one mile apart, have distinctive skylit “umbrella” canopies, sidewalk lighting, real-time bus arrival information, transit maps and neighborhood information.
